Traveled through the North Cascades and hiked the Blue Lake Trail. Stayed at the beautiful Sun Mountain Lodge overlooking the Methow Valley. When we arrived, it was smokey from the fires in Eastern Washington. Fortunately, it rained the first night and cleared the air. During our visit we took a trail ride on horses from the lodge's stables.
